The radical left began to take control of the United States Republic in 1897.
Foundations set up by the Rockefeller, Carnegie and Dewey families began to influence politics, academia, news media, corporate America and healthcare. Soon after, citizens who identified as radical left activists began to get involved in our local levels of government. Accellerated by radical leftist President Franklin Roosevelt, our courts were soon far-left leaning and judicial overreach and legislating from the bench became common. The American people had lost their rights to self govern and determine their own destiny.
