After 13+ years of triumph and disaster, joy and heartbreak, and the rollercoaster ride of a lifetime... we bring you the first episode of The Quinn Spinn EVER recorded in our very own space -- the UMC Creator Lab!
We're still working out a bug or two (it's a new space with new toys, after all)! While we do, let's catch up on a summer's worth of adventures, and how a few key stops along the journey -- Musikfest (Bethlehem, PA), Gussapolooza (Cookstown, ON), and Cellovision 2026 (Nashville, TN) -- have shed a light on the pockets of community being created across the creative ecosystem.
The Quinn Spinn is recorded and produced inside the UMC Creator Lab at City Limit Studios (Old Hickory, TN).

Our pop-up tent got destroyed. The rain made everything MOIST. And yet, we persisted, delivering a series of interviews from the third and final day of Gussapolooza 2026.
We spent this episode venturing out to other people's booths, chatting with some of the visual artists in residence about their creative processes and inspirations. We also happened to get everyone's stances on AI use in the arts... and we found some varying perspectives among the group.
Thank you to everyone at Gussapolooza -- especially Gary from Barrie, Bad Club Media, and At the Scene Photography -- for getting us back up and running after the storm tried to take us out!

The Gussapolooza 2026 party continued on Saturday, and the threat of rain couldn't stop us from getting some insightful convos in.
We chatted with multimedia wizard and longtime Gussapolooza volunteer Dominic Liberka, visual artist and women's empowerment activist Angela Francis, and New York-based multi-genre trio Already Late.

We are BACK on your feeds -- just in time for the 13th anniversary of Episode 1 -- with an all-new edition of The Quinn Spinn recorded LIVE at Gussapolooza, our favorite all-indie Canadian music festival in Cookstown, ON!
It was Battle of the Bands day (sponsored by ROCK 95 Barrie), and we had three of the five contestants -- TRAUMAQUEEN, New Anthem, and the winners... Mirrage!
We also welcome grant writer and independent artist advocate Ryan Farley (Hubris Entertainment), who dropped some industry knowledge to close us out!

As we progress into our music careers -- as hobbies become careers, and our responsibilities outside of the industry increase in volume and importance -- we stop asking the same questions.Instead of putting our whole life on hold for music, we begin to ask: how do I make this career fit into my life?
This timely conversation with the returning Danny Spiro dives deep into that question, as we uncover the ways we've found to move forward as life, the industry, and our own endeavors have evolved.

Listen up, everyone. The music industry is a mess. The robots are trying to take over. There is snake oil for sale, and some artists have bought in. And yet, there is prevailing hope that this thing is turning back toward community and collaboration, in spite of the best efforts from some of the powers that be.
That's why your music industry aunt and uncle -- weatherers of many-a storm -- are here to set the record straight. ARREIS joins The Quinn Spinn once again as our guest on a fiery episode that is sure to help you, independent artists of Earth, navigate this strange wilderness.

What if the only thing standing in your way are the stories you tell yourself?
A radical shift inspires this Quinn Spinn Solo Mission; one marked by the world of possibility that exists on the other side of the walls we put up.
We have two choices: follow the scripts our minds have written in order to protect us, or rip them up and write something new.
