Happy Gilmore is a die hard hockey fan who has aspirations of being a hockey player himself. The only problem is, he's not very good. Everything changes when his grandmother loses her house after not paying her taxes in over a decade, which is messed up because she's old....I mean look at her...she's just...too old. Happy soon discovers that his late father's famous slapshot gives him an edge on a golf course and he joins the golf tour to win back his grandma's house. His bizarre behavior ends up drawing quite the economically diverse crowd, much to the chagrin of his new found nemesis Shooter McGavin. "You know what else could draw a crowd? A golfer with an arm growing out of his ass!"

Bruce Nolan is a reporter for WKBW News, and just can't get ahead in his career. It's almost as if someone... or something is holding him back... HIMSELF. He has a face to face with the big man upstairs and informs Him that He is doing everything wrong!!! So God decides to take a vacation and leave Bruce in charge because He can fix it all in just 5 minutes. Little does he know that he is about to learn the lesson of a lifetime.
