This is a recording of a coaching call between myself (Krista Dicks, RMT) and Emilie McKay, RMT (@Thermtpreneur). I was getting ready to leave on holiday and I have been purposely saving to give myself time off to alleviate my financial stress while on holiday. Talking to Emilie gave me clarity and helped answered my questions.

You are not alone in navigating a successful massage practice while being self-employed. We often over complicate or overwork ourselves when it comes to taking time off and we may even daydream about what it's like to have paid vacation days if we worked with the government or a larger company.

Melissa and her husband Jordan are the founders of The Online Wellness Institute, a library of continuing education courses for RMTs where their goal is to help RMTs thrive in their practice.
