Like most of you, I also used to mention lots of people at the end of my posts.

There's only one reason why people mention others in their posts - "Everyone wants their content to be read by people he or she admires"

Correct me, If I am wrong.

Later, with time, I observed that tagging so many people unnecessarily doesn't make much change to the number of likes and comments.

So, I stopped doing so.

It doesn't make any sense to mention people in your posts unnecessarily, most of them don't even bother to see your content.

So, stop bothering others and keep patience.

You need to understand that if someone approaches you to get something done, he or she trusts you and your capabilities.

So, instead of following someone else, trust yourself and get that task done. If you'll let someone else dictate your creativity, you'll never be able to deliver your best.

If you don’t have a strong reason to start something, you will have no reason to stop doing other time-wasting activities.

Agree?

Well, that’s what I would suggest to my younger self. I wouldn’t tell him to STOP doing this, that and all. Instead, I would suggest him to find something to START. This is because once he would find his passion and he would be spending his whole time in nurturing his skills not in watching movies and playing video games.

And that would give him a reason to stop doing what doesn’t add values to his passion.
