Third in this series...

Cape Charles, Virginia 1861, off the coast the Confederate raider, Delta Dancer has once again with Captain Rafe Taylor at the helm, ran through the Union blockade. This story is about the growing animosity between Union Caption Raymond & Confederate Captain Taylor. The story itself deserves five stars easily but for some reason I've noticed in this four book series a complete change in the writing style of Mr. Vaughan. I have read all of the Hawke stories, all of the Remington series & other various books by this writer & totally enjoyed them. This series though, has too much sex & bed hopping for my liking & it drops a star from my review because of that. Maybe there has been pressure to "spice" up the stories but they could easily stand alone without all the added "spice." For that reason only, I was disappointed.
