The festivities continue in Ayodhya; we reach the end of the Bal Kand (Book 1 of the Ramayana).

After much festivity, the court of Dasharatha, including Rama, his brothers, and their new wives, return to Ayodhya.

Lakshman confronts Parasurama; King Janaka begins preparations for the wedding and messengers are dispatched to King Dasharatha.

Rama attends the bow sacrifice, breaks the bow and wins Sita's hand. Rama and Lakshman then encounter Parasurama.
