The Rambling Star Wars Fan

This episode was recorded as an episode of The Inflatable Falcon - one of the other Star Wars shows that I am blessed to be a part of. Mike Hinton and I got to spend time talking with Kerwin, one half of the dynamic duo known for the Father Son Galaxy Podcast. He and his son Keith talk about Marvel, Star Wars and all sorts of other pop culture topics

The newest live action Star Wars show on Disney+ is called The Acolyte and folks have LOTS of thoughts, opinions, theories, praise, vitriol, and questions about it. In this episode, I took a few steps into those wild waters by talking about some of my own thoughts and predictions about that show.

I also suggest that you go check out the Clashing Sabers podcast (https://clashingsabers.net/podcasts/). There is a strong team behind their content and they strive to use their podcasting powers for good by helping teachers and students across the country.

As promised, Todd and I got together to start talking about Mandalorian history and some of the costumes associated with it - the Early Crusaders, the Crusaders, and the Neo-Crusaders. Along the way also took time to talk about a few of the things that we have added to our collections and our recent Star Wars activities. Oh yeah, and we also celebrated the fact that Todd is now an official member of the Mando Mercs Star Wars costuming club.

It continues to amaze me how much Star Wars can inspire people to talk about Star Wars. In this episode I talk with Kristine, a fellow podcaster, about her fandom, her wish for future Star Wars content and her podcast called Mind the Force.

On Sunday, May 5th, Mike Hinton, Matt Mickelson, Sean Bradley and I joined forces to talk about the things that we have been inspired by the Makers of Star Wars to create. Matt talked about The Han Solo Chronicles (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6HYpozkkF0 ) and Sean talked about his costumes including those that he made for the Galactic Empire (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rg5Id8ELTZw ).

i think that Star Wars inspires its fans to do many things. In this episode, I talk about a few ways that Star Wars leads us to pay attention, to Think, and to Learn.

I also add another Podcast Suggestion to the list of shows that I think you should check out.
