  • Renfield -2023
Nicholas Cage, Nicholas Hoult and Awkafina stars in the horror comedy Renfield. The story unfolds as Dracula's bitch Renfield is tired of the unpaid, toxic, dysfunctional narcissist/ enabling supernatural relationship. After moving to New Orleans, Renfield joins a support group, meeting others with the same issues. In this flat, hit and miss horror comedy almost fell asleep. Awkafina shines, overshadow both Nicholases' in her first horror film. Here my thoughts and review over the revamping Universal OG monsters to a new audience. Nicholas Hoult doing all those X-Men Beast moves 🤣

  • The Retailators-2021

Horror/Thriller film The Retailators tells the story of cool youth pastor with a kick ass metal band John Bishop aka Ned Flanders  search for answers to his daughter's brutal murder one night.  What Ned Flanders stumbles will test his faith either joining the dark side indulging in vengeance or keep turning the other cheek which never works out; basically Ned turns into Ash from Evil Dead minus the chainsaw within the last 25 minutes of the film.  Shout out to Eric for the suggestion!  Thank you for listening.

  • The Changeling-1980

Happy Halloween from The Random Horror Show!

The scariest supernatural horror movie scared me so much that I had to sit down somewhere and regrow my hair AGAIN!  The Changeling is a Canadian supernatural film starring George C. Scott portraying Composer John Russell, a widower grieving with the loss of his wife and daughter moves to a mansion after accepting a position in Seattle.  Strange noises occur at 6 a.m., his music replaced by a early unknown tune and solving an seventy year old mystery of the previous occupant that was murdered.  Hear a real-life spooky story of a spirit that have been witness, seen and haunts my grandparents house for decades by yours truly, various family members and friends.  A great horror film to watch on Halloween night setting the mood for one spooky night to remember! 10 out of 10, a must for your horror collection.
