We got Will Manso (Channel 10/Miami Heat) to join us on The Random Scrub Heat Podcast. We (Alex Sheltman, Royal and Harrison) get Will's takes on the series thus far, and what he thinks the Heat have in store for the Nuggets in Miami for Games 3 and 4. A perfect pre-game pod to get you ready for Game 3 later tonight.
They say that a series doesn't start until the road team wins. So after a 111-108 Heat victory in Denver on Sunday night, the series has officially begun. The Random Scrubs (LJ, George and Harry) recap Game 2 and discuss the heroics of Gabe Vincent, Bam and Duncan Robinson, and remain completely baffled by Cody Zeller's minutes. Can the Heat win 3 more times?
We give you an NBA Finals preview at 1 AM. Can Caleb Martin keep it up? Can the Heat tame Jokic? Will they win in Denver? What are you thoughts on breast milk?
We welcome back Israel Gutierrez as our first recurring guest on the The Random Scrub Heat Podcast (#RSHP). We talk about Izzy's prophetic pre-season prediction of the Heat going the distance as well as his confidence of the team during a rough regular season. LJ, George and Harry chime in as we praise Spo, talk about Jimmy Freaking Butler, and the greatness of Bam. And everyone on this team thinks they can pull it off, and sometimes, that can trump talent.
We are joined by the great Chef Trillie (@ChefTrillie_) to discuss an absolute Heat beatdown of the Knicks in 6. The series was a Spo masterclass, and the Heat will have the coaching advantage going forward. We mocked the Knicks and their fans, and discuss how Bam and the role players really dictated this series. LJ, George, Harry and Trillie preview the next series and talk about the chances the Heat can advance to their 7th NBA Finals.
On our latest Random Scrub Heat Podcast, Dan Healy (@TheMiamiHeatUK) joins us to dissect the first two games (1-1) of the Heat-Knicks series as the games shift back to Miami. We discuss our confidence level with the Heat moving forward, Bam's Game 2 play, a Scott Foster legacy game, and the Heat's best super scrubs. Thank you to Dan for working around our time differences.
On this episode of The Random Scrub Heat Podcast (#RSHP), we discuss the Heat's quick dispatch of the Bucks. Is one of the greatest upsets ever somehow being disrespected? And LJ, Alex and Harry look ahead to the Knicks, and try to understand why Knicks fans are so cocky with such limited playoff success. We even look back at what was going on the last time the Knicks won the title...in 1973.
Last night brought you another addition of the Jimmy Butler masterclass, and there is no one who can control a game better when they're this locked in. He tied the 4th highest playoff scoring game ever as the Heat defeated the Bucks 119-114 to take a 3-1 series lead. We gave Jimmy his flowers, but also talked about Bam's 4th quarter defense, key contributions from Caleb, Duncan and Kyle down the stretch and celebrated a monumental win in Heat history. Time for the Heat to close the Bucks out.
We welcome Chris from Hoops Spaces to the Random Scrub Heat Podcast. We have a short funeral for this Miami Heat team before we moved on to the other playoff matchups around the NBA. LJ, Alex, George, Harry, and Chris give you their thoughts on the upcoming first round series, as well as what should be some exciting matchups over the next few weeks.
We're joined by Jeremy Tache of Bally Sports, The LeBatard Show and Miami Mic'd Up as we discuss the first (and hopefully last) play-in game for the Heat. How important is tomorrow's game? And we discuss Miami's season in general, and why JT is cautiously optimistic with the Heat having Jimmy in tow.
