May 31st, 1999: New WWF Champion The Undertaker vows to introduce "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to The Higher Power tonight on "Raw." But before he can do that, Vince McMahon challenges 'Taker to a match with an interesting stipulation: Austin gets a title shot tonight if Vince wins, but "Stone Cold" will never be able to challenge for the title again if Vince loses. Mankind and Triple-H go head-to-head in a Hardcore Match, which results in one of them being badly injured. The Godfather was scheduled to defend his Intercontinental Title against Owen Hart at "Over The Edge," but instead tonight he will defend it against Owen's former tag team partner Jeff Jarrett. WWF Tag Team Champions X-Pac & Kane put their belts on the line against The Acolytes. After weeks of vignettes, Beaver Cleavage finally steps into the ring for the first (and only!) time. And speaking of vignettes, we get the first ever appearance of the hidden camera segment known as GTV.... and it's not pretty. "The Road Dogg" Jesse James squares off with The Big Boss Man, who appears to have developed a bit of a mean streak. Ken Shamrock steps into the ring with Val Venis, who is accompanied by his new fling Nicole Bass. Billy Gunn goes one-on-one with Union member The Big Show (and yes, The Union is still a thing).

Plus, the WWF sends a camera crew to Owen Hart's funeral because.... your guess is as good as mine.

May 17th, 1999: We're just six days away from "Over The Edge," and The Corporate Ministry is determined to take out their three biggest rivals: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Rock, and Vince McMahon. The Undertaker faces The Rock in a Casket Match, with the post-match highlight being the very first time Triple-H uses his signature weapon. And as for Triple-H, he gets matched up with "Stone Cold" in tonight's main event. The Godfather & Val Venis square off with Jeff Jarrett and (in his final televised match) The Blue Blazer. In six-man tag team action, "The Road Dogg" Jesse James teams up with the WWF Tag Team Champions X-Pac & Kane to face Billy Gunn, Mark Henry, and D'Lo Brown. And in yet another six-man tag match, The Brood face off with Michael P.S. Hayes and The Hardy Boyz (who are finally making their debut on "Raw" in The Attitude Era!). Union member The Big Show goes up against Corporate Ministry member The Big Boss Man, with the result being about what you would expect. And speaking of The Union, Test steps into the ring with, of all people, Meat. Plus, Al Snow pays tribute to his friend Pierre, PMS has a new member, and we're somehow still doing these Beaver Cleavage vignettes.

May 10th, 1999: With "Nitro" being preempted by The NBA Playoffs, "Raw" has Monday all to themselves, and what results is a record-breaking rating which still has not been topped to this day! Commissioner Shawn Michaels shows up on the TitanTron live from back home in San Antonio, where he proceeds to schedule a whole bunch of matches. In our main event, WWF Champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin teams with The Rock and Vince McMahon to take on Corporate Ministry members The Undertaker, Triple-H, and Shane McMahon. In a Hardcore Handicap Match, Mideon & Viscera team up to face an opponent who is returning for one night only: Cactus Jack! Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco once again step into the ring with The Mean Street Posse, but this time the losing team must leave the WWF forever. The Big Boss Man does battle with Test in what you could say is Boss Man's signature match: a Nightstick-on-a-Pole Match. WWF Women's Champion Sable puts her title on the line against Debra in an Evening Gown Match, with surprising results. Chyna screwed over Ken Shamrock last week, so she must confront "The World's Most Dangerous Man" tonight. One half of the WWF Tag Team Champions Kane squares off with former DX member Billy Gunn. Jeff Jarrett clobbers Val Venis with a guitar, and then later on the two of them have a pretty solid match. Paul Bearer is forced to compete in his first ever match in the WWF...... against The Big Show. Faarooq and Bradshaw are ordered to face each other in a match which could potentially tear The Acolytes apart. Plus, we get another terrible Beaver Cleavage vignette, and Steve Blackman does some cool martial arts stuff to try and get us to forget that he's been a jobber for the past few months!

May 3rd, 1999: Now that Shane McMahon and The Undertaker have joined forces to create The Corporate Ministry, Mankind teams up with The Big Show, Ken Shamrock, and Test to form a Union of his own. However, Shane does not take too kindly to this new alliance, so he proceeds to schedule a bunch of matches which are slanted in The Corporate Ministry's favor. Not only that, but Shane challenges his father Vince McMahon to a match tonight.... but will the chairman accept? In our main event, WWF Champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin faces The Rock in a Lumberjack Match, with The Corporate Ministry acting as lumberjacks. Mankind must compete in a hard-hitting Hardcore Handicap Match against The Acolytes. The Undertaker steps into the ring with The Big Show, which leads to one of the most awesomely brutal spots you'll ever see (hint: it involves a baseball bat). Ken Shamrock is ordered to face Triple-H..... in a match where Chyna is the special guest referee. We get a Four Corners Match: Test vs. The Big Boss Man vs. Mideon vs. Viscera (which is really more of a 3-on-1 Handicap Match). The recently-fired Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco return to the ring against Mean Street Posse members Rodney & Pete Gas. Fresh off a heel turn on the pilot episode of "Smackdown," Billy Gunn does battle with his former DX stablemate X-Pac. WWF Women's Champion Sable is ordered to defend her title against Debra in an Evening Gown Match, but Sable may have other priorities instead.

Plus, we get the on-screen debut of the infinitely charismatic Linda McMahon!

April 29th, 1999: Our timelines match up perfectly because we're reviewing the 1999 "Smackdown" pilot right before "Smackdown" moves to Fox here in 2019! And for such a historic show, we had to bring in Martin Dixon from The New Blood Rising Podcast and Wrestling In The Clinton Years!

Shane McMahon forces bitter rivals "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock to team up against The Undertaker and Triple-H for a massive main event. However, Shane's surprises don't stop there because he also introduces us to a brand new faction which combines two existing heel stables. X-Pac & Kane put their WWF Tag Team Titles on the line against X-Pac's DX pals The New Age Outlaws. Val Venis is scheduled to face Owen Hart, but instead he has to settle on a replacement....... the returning Blue Blazer. In a legendarily terrible segment, The Brood break their silence for the first time in an interview with Dok Hendrix. Ken Shamrock looks to get some revenge on Bradshaw when he faces him in a Street Fight. Mankind goes head-to-head with The Big Boss Man, and it appears that Mick Foley has some unlikely allies backing him up. D'Lo Brown steps into the ring with Darren Drozdov (and no, thankfully, it's not THAT match). The Big Show goes one-on-one with now-former Corporation member Test, with the highlight of the match being Big Show somehow hitting a dropkick.

After kidnapping Stephanie McMahon last night, The Undertaker is forcing Vince McMahon to sign over control of the WWF in order to get her back. But before that can happen, it appears that 'Taker has some plans of his own for Stephanie: marrying her against her will in front of the world!

Because The Rock was unsuccessful at regaining the WWF Championship last night, Shane McMahon proceeds to fire him from The Corporation... so Rock challenges him to a match tonight!

The dysfunctional team of X-Pac & Kane defend their WWF Tag Team Titles against Gangrel & Edge, but a post-match bloodbath throws things into further disarray.

Mankind & The Big Show team up to face Corporation members The Big Boss Man & Test.

A frustrated Billy Gunn claims that he will defeat Triple-H tonight because fellow DX member X-Pac couldn't get the job done last night.

WWF Intercontinental Champion The Godfather puts his belt on the line against Jeff Jarrett, with an interesting stipulation: if Jarrett loses, Debra must become one of Godfather's hoes.

Ken Shamrock is scheduled to face Bradshaw, but Faarooq sees to it that the match never even gets under way.

D'Lo Brown steps into the ring with Val Venis, and it appears that Nicole Bass is still after "The Big Valbowski."

Plus, we get introduced to two brand new terrible gimmicks: Beaver Cleavage and Meat!

April 19th, 1999: After throwing "Stone Cold" Steve Austin off a bridge last week, The Rock is preparing to hold a funeral for "The Rattlesnake." However, those plans may be interrupted when "Stone Cold" shows up to the arena driving his own custom monster truck! Michael Cole conducts an interview with Vince and Stephanie McMahon at WWF Studios..... until an unwelcome guest shows up. To show how deep the current roster is, Triple-H faces Mankind in the middle of the show with no build-up whatsoever. "The Road Dogg" Jesse James goes one-on-one with Owen Hart, but the most memorable part is a pre-match promo where "Road Dogg" coins a new term for Debra's anatomy. Later on, the other halves of those tag teams also square off, with "Badd Ass" Billy Gunn going head-to-head with Jeff Jarrett. Ken Shamrock faces The Big Boss Man in a No Holds Barred Match..... which somehow takes place entirely inside of the ring. The Big Show goes up against Viscera in a match where the ring has hopefully been reinforced. After leaving The Ministry of Darkness last week, The Brood face off with The Undertaker's henchmen The Acolytes. In a clash of two champions, The Godfather puts his Intercontinental Title on the line against WWF Hardcore Champion Hardcore Holly.

Plus, The Undertaker beats up members of his own faction, Val Venis finally meets Sable, and Mankind and The Big Show are somehow best friends despite the fact that they're supposed to be fighting each other in six days!

April 12th, 1999: Vince McMahon has been preoccupied with The Undertaker over the past few weeks, so his son Shane makes a power play and takes over The Corporation for himself! However, Ken Shamrock remains loyal to Vince, which now puts "The World's Most Dangerous Man" in the crosshairs of both The Ministry of Darkness and The Corporation. The Rock takes "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's Smoking Skull Belt and heads to "The Roody-Poo Bridge" with it, and he invites "The Rattlesnake" to join him. New WWF Tag Team Champions X-Pac & Kane put their titles on the line against Corporation members Triple-H & Test. "Badd Ass" Gilly Gunn goes one-on-one with Val Venis, with "The Big Valbowski" seemingly being invited to join D-Generation-X during the post-match festivities. Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart square off with The Acolytes, as The Undertaker proceeds to turn his attention toward Debra. Goldust is scheduled to defend his WWF Intercontinental Title against The Big Boss Man, but The Godfather is willing to make The Boss Man an offer he may not be able to refuse. The Big Show steps into the ring with Christian, and the result is pretty much exactly what you would expect. And speaking of Christian, his friends Gangrel and Edge continue to stick up for him, which may result in an irreparable division between The Brood and The Ministry. Hardcore Holly defends his WWF Hardcore Title against D'Lo Brown as Al Snow lurks nearby at the commentary table. Sable is all set to defend her WWF Women's Championship in a Fatal Four-Way against Tori, Ivory, and Jacqueline.... if the match ever actually begins.

Plus, The Undertaker promises yet another sacrifice, Mankind finds a surprising guest in the boiler room, and Jim Ross finally returns to commentary!

Meanwhile in WCW, the competition actually puts on a surprisingly good pay-per-view, culminating with the ultimate underdog winning The World Heavyweight Championship!

Meanwhile, Shane's frequent taunting of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin causes "The Rattlesnake" to vow that he will cost The McMahon Family a whole lot of money tonight! Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart put their WWF Tag Team Titles on the line against the unlikely team of X-Pac & Kane. Hometown boy Mankind faces Val Venis while the commentators proceed to ignore the match entirely so they can whine about unfair media coverage. The reunited New Age Outlaws step into the ring with Brood members Gangrel & Edge, and somehow the guy who takes the pinfall isn't even part of the match! Ken Shamrock squares off with Viscera, but The Ministry of Darkness has revenge on their minds after Shamrock rescued Stephanie McMahon from their clutches on last week's "Raw." Goldust defends his newly-won WWF Intercontinental Title against The Godfather. WWF Hardcore Champion Hardcore Holly goes one-on-one with Al Snow in a match which is somehow not for the title and not even a Hardcore Match.

Plus, Christian is punished by The Ministry for his actions last week, The Big Show has a new theme song, and Terri Runnels gets her top ripped off!

Meanwhile over on The TNT Network, Chris Jericho wrestles his final match on "Nitro," and WCW attempts to revamp its image by introducing a brand new intro video, stage, and logo!
