I ran a tad over time on this one, but as you'll be able to tell...I am very passionate about this sport and lifestyle!
This episode dives into 5 key points that I think people should know and understand about being a bodybuilding athlete specifically.
I cover mindset, coaches, body dysmorphia and health complications, post comp blues as well as a background on my training and how I started.
A balance of the glamorous side VS the not so glamorous side of competing and prep!
Enjoy the listen - E x

Eat THIS to speed up your METABOLISM.
Train this way to kickstart your METABOLISM.
But, I have a slow METABOLISM...
This word gets thrown around a lot... but do you really know what it is or how it works? That's exactly what this episode covers, as well as how we can create great metabolic adaptations by adjusting the way we eat, move and care for our bodies.
Enjoy! - E

Let's talk GOALS.
Why I don't necessarily like the big hairy word, how we can stay driven by creating the most beneficial / sustainable goals and enjoying the journey are a few points covered in this episode.
... and no I don't go over S.M.A.R.T. goals either ...

SHOULD I BE COUNTING MY CALORIES???
Nutrition is not a "one-size-fits-all" approach and what helps me achieve my goals will not necessarily be the approach that you adhere to best.
In this episode, I chat about what our calories are made up of, how we can calculate our calorie deficit range, ways to lose or gain weight WITHOUT tracking and also the POSITIVES that come from calorie counting too!
Enjoy - E x
What actually happens to our bodies when we decrease our training volume or stop training all together?
Thanks to COVID, us fitspos, gym junkies and tin lifters are not able to step foot in a gym for quite some time... so will all our hard work just go to waste?!
I hope this episode puts you at ease in some way... keep pushing!

This episode was recorded a few weeks back when I had gone off of social media. Many of us may think that we aren't that consumed by these social platforms, but until you reel it back you don't understand the amount of unnecessary time you stare at a screen.
3 days in and my mindset is already stronger and more clear. Only focussing on the things that enhance personal growth changes everything, rather than having your precious mental energy drained in other ways.
If you want to change your habits then you must keep yourself accountable first.
Enjoy the listen!
It's quite obvious that males and females are designed quite physiologically differently...
But, how much is out training effected depending upon our gender and physiological makeup? Or how much should our nutrition be altered to optimise fat loss if we are a males VS a female? Do males really have the ability to grow more muscle mass?
These are just a few of the things that will be covered in today's podcast episode!
Enjoy the listen,

In life we learn the most from our shortcomings. Our mistakes. Our failures.
Shit happens thats life... and if you don't understand the importance of developing from those times and using it to fuel your fire then you cannot change for the better.
This episodes a little bit about me and more about the value of self-awareness.
P.s. excuse the swearing but when I'm passionate about something... yea I swear...
Enjoy the listen! E.
