Taylor is a former police chief with the Winfield Police Department in Missouri, (fmr) gang investigator for the city of Louisiana, MO, and (fmr) S.W.A.T. team member.  Taylor continues to work with law enforcement, teaching courses on sexual assault investigations as an adjunct professor of criminal justice, and currently resides in Seattle, WA.

Taylor has also written a book, If You Can't Quit Cryin', You Can't Come Here No More: A Family's Legacy of Poverty, Crime, and Mental Illness in Rural America.  it is available for pre-order on Amazon.

In the episode we talk to long time Seattle resident and musician, Joe Dredd.

My friend, and guest, Sean Aust and I discuss the events happening now in Minneapolis and around the US.  First we wonder how something like this continues to happen to people, and especially men of color.  However, what is just as bad (in the opinion of the host) is what/how people are reacting with violence and looting.
