We’re heading back to Asgard—where the skies are moodier, the plots are twistier, and the villains are… honestly, kind of forgettable. This week, Adelia and Matt dive into Thor: The Dark World, the second chapter in the God of Thunder’s solo saga and possibly the most "mid" movie with the most iconic Loki moments.
🍿 This Episode: THOR: THE DARK WORLD (2013)
Adelia and Matt tackle the swirling mess of space elves, ancient goo, and sibling drama that is Thor: The Dark World. While Malekith may not have left much of an impression, Loki definitely did. In this episode, they unpack, whether this movie deserves its “bottom five” MCU status, Loki’s fake-out death (and everyone’s real emotional damage), Jane Foster’s arc and how much it deserved better, and that weirdly romantic floating boat ride through Asgard. And of course: portals, gravity shifts, Darcy being an icon, and how Chris Hemsworth still managed to charm his way through the darkest timeline.
🛑 Spoilers for The Dark World, Thor & Loki’s increasingly complicated brotherhood, and Frigga (RIP, queen).
