You're the person who feels compelled to capture their feelings, concerns and rants in a personal letter, and then posts it for public consumption. From the praisers to the shame-on-your(ers), I consistently get lured into their efforts to put people on full blast.

However, from a reader's standpoint, I feel unsatisfied by the open-ended-ness of it all. Their ramblings have been seen by many but, answered by none. I know that's not the point. They're just trying to get something off their chest. Well, I have something off of mine. Responses.

Throughout my entire media career, I have covered just about every type of story you can possibly think of. Except sports. No sports here, sorry. I also did stand-up comedy for about 9 years before I turned my comedy stylings into digital content. And for well over a decade, I have been on an on-air reporter, contributor and commenter across various media networks and platforms. Sometimes people like what I have to say and sometimes they don't. But, when you are someone who doesn't take yourself or life too seriously, it's easy to laugh at every turn.

Everyone wants to be heard but, no one is listening to each other these days. I think we all need to take a beat, step out of our own echo chambers and meet at funny. Because even if we don't share the same opinion, we can share a laugh. And maybe, just maybe, we can find our way back to a civilized discourse.
