Hello Friends!

Welcome to another bonus episode of The Reading Room. On the last Thursday of each month I we have a special episode where I share some of my writing with you.

I've been writing my whole life and over the years I've saved up quite a few essays, short stories, novellas, and now I write novels. Here on The Reading Room, I might share a sample chapter of what I'm working on, or something I've published. Each month is a different story to share.

This month is THE GIFT. I hope you enjoy it. It's about a young woman standing on the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial in Hawaii, and having a flash back to a conversation with her grandfather that told her his story of surviving the Pearl Harbor attack of 1941.
