Amy was completely real on her dating profile. She made it very clear to anyone who she matched with, what she didn’t want in a man. As per usual, a non-smoker, height-req, and there was absolutely no room for assuming you will walk away on the first date with Amy in bed or calling her your girlfriend.  These men must prove themselves. So after 7 weeks of chatting, Mr. Washington had potential, chemistry, and they built up this great romance. You all know the feeling when your stomach flutters, excitement brews, and your 16 year-old-self gets all giddy with anticipation. Just to end in disappointment. You will learn why Mr. Washington’s hot-burning-love (or lava)  was a bust.

In this episode The Real Ex’s Heather, Sofie, and Amy will start talking about their other Ex’s. Sofie will start with a wild and crazy story that the other Real Ex’s were dying to hear about. Yes, the operative word is “dying”.

The story starts with Sofie moving to Portland, with her 5 year old son. She was a newly single mom, in a new city, and started a new job. It’s a shit show to say the least. After a few months, Sofie starts dating. The first guy is Mr. White, he was a fucken disaster in so many ways. This story should be on Days of Our Lives, because it was completely outrageous. Only a very few people know the entire story about him. What he did should have been a crime. Even Sofie’s therapist, in her 50 year career, never heard of such a preposterous act of manipulation, hypocrisy, and mendacity. Big words, little man!

She has also found herself buying boxed-red-wine, since the really good stuff was finished.  So what does a lonely 49 year old boxed-wine loving single woman do when the entire world is closed?  She joins TINDER -  guess what? They are always open for business ladies and gents. Sofie’s story with Mr. Ex starts in an empty bowling alley parking lot and ends with an email from one of his ex’s.

In this episode you will hear from The Real Ex’s Heather, Sofie, and Amy for the first time. This “Pilot” episode is essentially the three ladies being completely real and candid as they work out the kinks of their podcast start-up.  The Ex’s had one working microphone, but they had lots of wine, and a ton of things to talk about. You will learn more about future podcast topics. Please set your expectations to very low, seriously!  In a short 20 minute “Show & Tell”, you will get to know their voices, their laughs, and their personalities. Just imagine when you go on a first awkward date with a new guy, you spill wine on him, and you want to run into the bathroom, but stop by the bar and take a shot without your date seeing. And then you call your girlfriend after the date, and laugh your asses off! That pretty much sums up this Pilot… so don’t judge!
