Welcome to The Real Jesus Experience, a Christian podcast where raw stories of faith, struggle, and redemption inspire us to trust in God's plan. Today, we begin a compelling two-part journey with a man whose life took a miraculous turn—Galen Blom, Minister of Domain Engagement at Houston NW Church.
In this first episode, Galen takes us deep into a childhood filled with struggles—undiagnosed dyslexia that left him feeling inadequate and ashamed. His stubbornness and reactions often led to difficult times at home, especially with his father, who knew only one way to discipline. Then came a remarkable moment that changed everything—an unexpected illness struck out of nowhere, plunging him into a coma and threatening to take his life.
As Galen begins the long road to recovery as a high school junior, he couldn't have imagined where God would meet him—or the moment he would finally trust in God's guidance and surrender it all to Him. His story is one of finding faith and overcoming shame.
Join us for this journey to redemption and spiritual growth, and discover how believing in God's promises can lead to a real encounter with Christ. You won’t want to miss this Christian testimony that offers encouragement, Christian advice, and a renewed hope for Believers seeking to draw closer to God.
