The Real Life Podcast - Conversations from Life Foursquare

Lord of the Sabbath

In this stand alone sermon, Pastor Austin unpacks how Jesus redefined the Sabbath—not as a list of restrictions, but as a gift of renewal and relationship with God. When the Pharisees accused Jesus' disciples of breaking the Sabbath by picking grain, Jesus challenged their rigid rules and revealed the true heart of Sabbath rest. By looking at His response, we’ll discover how Sabbath is meant to bring freedom, not burden, and how we can embrace its true purpose in our own lives.
