You’re at the cusp of the best time of the year. Everything seems sweeter in summer, doesn’t it? The days are longer, the sun is shining, and the pace of the world slows down for a moment.
The thing about summer is it never lasts as long as you wish it would!
I want you to arrive on Labor Day weekend with no regrets. Let’s talk about how you can build an intentional summer.

Do you ever look back and wish you had a do-over?
You dissect your actions and wonder how things could have played out differently, if only you knew then what you know now. But, give yourself a break because hindsight is always 20/20.
I don’t like to spend time on regret. It’s a waste of mental and emotional energy and keeps you in the past. I want to live in the present.
That said, there is one thing that if I could go back and time and do differently—I would.
I can’t time travel, but I can do better than that. I can share my experience with you and help you change your life for the better!
I wish someone told me this when I was in my twenties…

Do you have a work BFF?
Your ride-or-die on impossible projects. That person who sends you hilarious memes during the most painful meetings. The one you share the best and worst parts of your personal life with.
They make everything about the workday better, don’t they?
But, what about the flip side? Is there someone on your team that you can’t stand?
They never do what they say they’re going to do. Everything they say feels like a personal attack. Just the sound of their voice chiming in on a conference call gets on your nerves.
We all have them.
Here’s the brutal truth. You’re always going to work with people you don’t like. It doesn’t matter what you do for a living. It doesn’t matter where you work. It’s a universal truth that unites us all.
There are tricks to help you deal with these people. Let’s have an honest talk about dealing with co-workers you don’t like.

You’re bold, ambitious, and extremely capable. But, sometimes, you need help.
Whether it’s a workload that’s pushed you beyond your limits or a problem that seems impossible to solve, there are times when the best option is to ask your boss for help.
Asking for help goes against our nature as Type-A corporate badasses! It feels uncomfortable. Awkward. Intimidating. Mortifying. But, there’s no need to feel ashamed or embarrassed about it!
It’s time for a reframe on this topic. Because there are times when asking your boss for help is a clear sign of your strength—not the weakness you fear. Stop harboring your stress and frustration; it’s time to have the conversation you need to have.
You can absolutely ask for help—and keep your stellar reputation intact! Let’s talk about how to ask your boss for help.

One of the most overused buzzwords directed toward women is “self-care.”
Each time this term comes up in popular news outlets or social media, it comes with to-do lists of assorted treats to purchase or New Age activities to try.
I have a very different view on this important topic.
Self-care is at the core of my everyday routine. It’s one of the things that fuel me to achieve big goals and has generally made me a happier person.
It’s worked for me, and it can work for you, too. Let’s talk about a new way to think about self-care.

The rise of remote working has completely changed the corporate landscape.
Companies are no longer limited by location to hire the talent they need, and employees have a level of flexibility that most people never dreamed would be possible even just a couple of years ago.
It’s easy to see the advantages. But, we’re now starting to feel the disadvantages, aren’t we?
It’s harder to get up to speed. It can feel lonely and isolating. Let’s be honest, work is more enjoyable when we do it with people we know and like!
We can complain about it, or we can do something about it. If you are feeling isolated, it’s time to take some action. I have some ideas to help! Let’s talk about how to feel more connected as a remote worker.

We often see advice about how to ace an interview as a job candidate. But, what about the flip side?
How do you rate yourself as an interviewer?
What kind of impression are you leaving on job candidates? Are you so focused on vetting them—that you lose sight of the fact that they are vetting you?
When you are asked to participate in job interviews, it’s a sign of trust. Not only because your company values your opinion, but because they are choosing you to represent the company to potential employees.
I break down real-world advice on how to be a better interviewer.

Ever felt like you spend all day in meetings and all night catching up on your work? As much as you and your teammates acknowledge that this is no way to work, nothing ever seems to change. You’re stuck.
The good news is there is a way to break the cycle.
It starts with you and the meetings that you schedule. There are ways you can effectively—and gracefully—cut back on meeting invitees.
I break down simple actions you can take to stop inviting everyone to your meeting.
