What happens when you stop being the easy woman?
You start saying no, Setting Boundaries, and Choosing Yourself, and suddenly you feel guilty, selfish, and like you've become someone you don't recognize
In this episode of The Reclamation Project, we're talking about "good girl" conditioning , the identity disruption that comes with becoming less accommodating, and why feeling guilty doesn't automatically mean you're doing something wrong. You dont have to become hard, stop caring, or abandon your kindness to reclaim yourself. You DO get to stop making yourself the price of connection.

Self awareness is powerful - but that alone, doesn't create change
In this episode, we explore the uncomfortable space between knowing your patterns and actually changing them. From people pleasing and over explaining to managing everyone else's emotions, you'll discover why understanding your self abandonment isn't the finish line.... it's the beginning
We walk through the stages of Reclamation - Recognize, Reveal, Reclaim, Rewrite, Reinforce, and Embody - and what it looks like to begin rebuilding self trust in real life
Reclamation is learning how to stay connected to yourself without disconnecting from everyone else
What does choosing yourself actually look like when you're a wife, mother, grandmother, rancher, cattle woman, and business owner? In this episode, I had the priviledge of sitting with Jackie for a deeply honest conversation about what it means to stop abandoning yourself while still loving, caring for, and sowing up for people who matter most. Jackie shares her own journey of discovering Whole Balanced Body - and what began to change when she realized that putting everyone else first was coming at a cost to herself. We talk about the difference between self sacrifice and self abandonment. and how to lear to listen to your body - it can reveal things your mind has learned to ignore and override. We asked a bigger question: What did you have to stop believing about yourself in order to start choosing yourself? Connect with Jackie:

Choosing yourself doesn't mean choosing against the people you love. In this episode, we talk about what happens when healing and healing language - such as boundaries, triggers, nervous system regulation, and self abandonment - become a weapon instead of a tool for connection to self and to your loved ones. Real healing isn't about being right, avoiding compromise, or diagnosing everyone around you. It's about accountability, discernment, repair, and learning how to stay loyal to yourself while making room for another person. Self abandonment isn't the goal - but neither is self obsession
The goal is self loyalty inside the relationship
Choosing yourself sounds Empowering... until it costs you something.
In this episode, we're getting real about what happens when choosing yourself means disappointing someone - setting a boundary - walking away - losing approval - or sitting in grief of a decision you know is right for you
We talk about why discomfort doesn't always mean you've made the wrong choice, why you may have deveoped a higher tolerance for your own unhappiness than you realize, and how to stop running to self abandonment just because someone else is uncomfortable with your boundaries Choosing yourself isn't about making everyone else happy with your decisions.
This is about refusing to make your own betrayal the price of keeping everyone else comfortable.
Journaling questions:
Where am I tolerating my own unhappiness to keep someone else comfortable? What am I afriad will happen if I stop?
Whose disappointment am I currently managing? What feeling am I interpreting as evidence that I've done something wrong? What would choosing myself look like without making anyone else wrong?
Can I tolerate the discomfort long enough to find out what happens next?
What happens when being chosen becomes more important than choosing?
In this episode, we unpack the hidden self abandonment that happens when you're constantly trying to prove you're loveable - overgiving, overanalyzing, suppressing your needs, and becoming whoever you think someone else will want.
Being wanted isn't the same as being valued
It's time to stop asking "Do they choose me?" and start askign "Do I choose this?"
This is the reclamation: coming back to yourself, tursting your discernment adn decising who actually deserves access to you.
Choosing yourself isn't about becoming selfish, cutting people off, or needing no one.
It's learing to believe your needs, desires, boundaries and feelings are allowed and they matter
In this episode, we unpack the subtle ways self abandonment gets mistaken for being loving, accommodating and understanding - and what it looks like to begin choosing yourself without abandoning the people you love.
The goal isn't to need no one, it's to stop leaving yourself
Journal Questions:
What do I actually want? what am I saying yes to that I mean no to?
What would I choose if no one was disappointed?
Where am I self abandonign to maintain connection? What truth have I been negotiating with?
12 Years in Business: The Woman I Had to Become
IN Part Two of this 12 - Year Anniversary series, we move from where I started to, to who I had to become along the way.
Growth isn't always about adding more. Sometimes it's about releasing identities, expectations and versions of yourself that once serve you - and no longer fit
I share the transitions, the moments of outgrowing myself, and what 12 years of business taught me about navigating change without abandoning myself. If you're standing at a crossroads, questioing a decision, or feeling the pull toward something different, this episode is an invitation to stop asking, "what should I do"
And ask "who am I becoming and what would she choose?"

In Part One of this Two Part anniversary, I'm going back to the beginning - why I started, what kept me going through the hardest seasons of my life - and the unexpected ways my business became a mirror for my growth. Sometimes the life we build requires us to become somone we never expected to be. If you're standing at the edge of a big decision or navigating a season of change, this episode may help you ask a more important question than "what should I do" Who am I becoming??
