Joann is a champion for survivors of human trafficking and sexually exploited women in

Southwest Florida. She is currently the Executive Director at Into the Jordan Ministries. She

came to the ministry as a volunteer, mentoring and tutoring vulnerable women. Her love of

education and heart of compassion soon found herself on the Board of Directors and now

leading the organization. Today, she is responsible for fundraising, strategic and

operational activities, as well as shepherding and mentoring the survivors. Joann's

understanding of the importance of education in furthering one's success in life is the

backbone of the mission and success of the women she serves.
