"I never want another family member... to experience that," she shares. This personal connection fuels her dedication to helping others achieve a meaningful life free from addiction.
At Sana Lake, Angela leads a team of outreach coordinators, all of whom are certified peer support specialists. "It’s just been amazing to see the progression with that," she says. Her role involves not only managing her team but also advocating for veterans and first responders, a cause she holds dear due to her family background.
The Members for Life Program
One of the standout initiatives at Sana Lake is the **Members for Life** program, which Angela describes as the most robust alumni program she has encountered. This program fosters a sense of family and community among those in recovery. Activities include comedy nights, karaoke, and family-friendly outings, all aimed at building recovery capital.
