The only posture that will bring true power into our lives is the posture of prayer.  I always begin my prayers by confessing this posture.  It involves a humble heart on bended knee at the foot of the Cross.  This is a posture of humility.  We humble ourselves before God as a way of acknowledging our need for His strength to become active in our lives.

God doesn't need us to contribute to His plan for our lives.  God wants us to be all in, in full worship, and fully engaged with the other parts of the body of Christ.  Romans 12 is where we begin. I encourage you to read the whole chapter of Romans 12 to see how God speaks to you about your part in the body of Christ.  Then I want you to read Psalm 139 each day for the next week but read it like it is your prayer to God and see how God speaks to you.  This message was shared with the congregation of FMC in Trussville.
