Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:11-12

Proverbs 19:20-21 Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom for the future. The human mind may devise many plans, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established.

Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens to counsel.

We urge you, beloved, to admonish the idlers, encourage the faint-hearted, help the weak, be patient with all of them. See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all. 1 Thessalonians 5 :12-28 

Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out. Proverbs 10:9 

Then the king will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’ Matthew 25: 34-36

Listen to why "Black lives matter." The reason why we speak of black lives matter is that we care about the lives of all who are in danger. And today, now, and in this time of history, it is about the blacks. Listen more to understand why now is the time for us to rise up and empower the lives of those who are marginalized for the color of their skin. 

We are called to be the followers of Jesus. We all need to reflect deeply on what that means. Following Jesus is not the same as being a fan of Jesus. And there are many fans, not enough followers in Christianity. 

We, the developed nation called America, are broken. Our system is in need of healing and change. Each of us has a responsibility to change, and we are called to make that happen by simply following the American call to justice and truth. God breathes life into the dry bones if we allow it. God comes into us and shakes the grounds we stand on, but never leaves us without being changed.
