This is the first of what I hope are many "Special Edition" episodes of The Red Pill & The Rabbit Hole podcast, and I decided to start a new "sub-series" called "Favorite Album Stories". It's not really an album review per se, but more of a commentary on what specific albums by beloved artists mean to me and how they have been or are becoming an integral part of the soundtrack to me life.
RUSH's "Hemispheres" album was the FIRST Rush music I had ever heard and as you will learn from listening to the podcast, that experience came at a pivotal point in time in my development as an individual, particularly as it coincided with the time my family lived in Europe for a season which was no small influence in itself.
I won't spoil it, as I hope this podcast not only entertains you, but maybe even inspires you to take a closer look at RUSH and their catalog of music which spans 40 years and has more to offer that most bands that have ever existed. If nothing else, I hope it inspires you to dust off one of your own personal favorite albums (Vinyl , CD, or whatever), get comfortable, "drop the needle" and remember how good it feels to be moved by the sounds, hearts, and minds of your favorite artists and the precious gift of music that has been bestowed to them.
Peace!
