It was a true honor to sit down with Omar Garcia. Omar has served as Missions Pastor at Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy since 2005. Over the past 16 years, he has led Kingsland's missions ministry to adopt 18 unreached people groups, establish partnerships with more than 40 local ministries, and mobilizes more than 3,000 volunteers annually. When he is not traveling the world, he enjoys ultramarathon canoe racing, hiking and backpacking, and spending time with his wife at their off-grid cabin in Big Bend. He and his wife Cheryl are the parents of three children and grandparents to three beautiful granddaughters.
