I'm so lucky that this interview happened.
So a little peek behind the curtain, the first time I interviewed Nicole I slept horribly the night before, Mr. Catson threw up 3 minutes before the interview, I was rattled, frustrated, and upset. However, through our ten-minute conversation, I felt that as good as the conversation went, there was an opportunity for a deeper conversation; this is that conversation.
Nicole graciously talks to me about her time in the industry, the frustrations of the industry, the inspiration behind the "Ohio Women Trilogy", and much more.
Kick your feet up, relax, and check out my interview with Nicole Riegel.

In the second film in their Ohio Women Trilogy, Nicole Riegel steps behind the camera once again to deliver her latest offering in Dandelion. The titular character, portrayed by Kiki Layne is going through multiple hurdles in her life and decides to make a last-ditch effort to become the musician she believes she can be.
How does this film stack up next to other music films such as Begin Again and Hearts Beat Loud?
Check out my review of Dandelion!

I was lucky enough to speak with writer & director Jacqueline Joseph, about her current documentary Love, 2020! We talk about how life was during the pandemic, the logistics of trying to put on a tennis tournament, how this film is a love letter to the city they love, and what this documentary taught her.
Check out my conversation with Jacqueline Joseph!

Think back to 2020, when we didn't know anything about COVID, and the world shut down. Given the cultural significance, one city in particular was hit harder than most. Now, imagine that you're trying to host a worldwide tennis event, with people coming from over 50 countries to participate.
Jacqueline Joseph's documentary has a lot to say about COVID, the pandemic at large, and tennis at large. Did I......love it(see what I did there), check out the review and find out!

I was lucky enough to check out this new film last week in Catching Dust, and I was even more fortunate to get a chance to talk with the writer/director of the film Stuart Gatt, and star Erin Moriarty.
Normally, I'd cut the part at the beginning of a recording when the guests and I are just riffing, but I thought it was entertaining discourse from start to finish; so I decided to keep it in. Five years from now, Stuart Gatt is going to be a major player in Hollywood, keep an eye on this dude, he's going to be so flippin special.
I'm grateful to Stuart and Erin for taking the time to chat with me, I hope you enjoy the interview as much as I did conducting it; check it out!

First-time director TJ Noel-Sullivan steps up to the plate, to direct a new heist film in "Midas", which has a shocking amount to say about the health care industry, and how it feels to be someone reliant on it.
