David Aldridge and Britt Ghiroli of the Athletic are on the show for back to back segments discussing everything and anything in the world of sports. Nationals opening day, Tiger at the Masters, the NBA Playoffs... everything gets discussed in this incredible installment.
Hope springs eternal for every group of fans on Opening Day! The Nationals had their game moved back to accommodate the rain. Can the Nats reload instead of rebuild? Can they keep Juan Soto in DC for another 5-10 years? So many questions and no actual answers.
Every week Reese Waters takes a look at the world and gives out the honor no good person would want. The Racist of the Week is delivered this week to the people getting Will Smith Oscars ink.
How doe people look at the swirling insanity regarding the football team in DC outside of the DC area? When it comes to the big off the field stories are any of the things that drive us ctazy even talked about? Reese talks to Gill Alexander about this and more before taking calls from the best listeners in radio.
One of the most intellectually informative, interesting and enjoyable writers in DC joins the show to discuss the upcoming MLB season, the players to bet on and how much Juan Soto is worth compared to the other elite players in DC. The Los Angeles Lakers have received a lot of attention this year and that is coming to a close thankfully.
Half way through the day. half way through the week. Reese breaks down some of the stories we have not had enough time to get to. This week; Parents are mad at refs. Bad beats are everywhere and much more!
With a full 20 hours to concentrate and meditate upon a call we got at the end of the show yesterday, Reese starts with his thoughts on those people that might think we should just focus on the games and the actual football being played. The football being played is actually bad too. The organization, the franchise is problematic which makes the team bad. That's a ball of hair no one wants to unwind.
Today's show actually started yesterday towards the end of the show. Reese received a call from a fellow named Jumbo and we have that segment here in order to set up the first hour from today.
We'd like to just pay attention to games too! We'd like to see a team that makes us proud. People who don't pay attention to the everyday reality of the Commanders might not understand the reality of the craziness.
