In this episode I’m speaking to Phoebe Opoku Asiedu. Phoebe and I met in 2016 at a women’s conference called Colour. I had heard Phoebe share her story of reconciliation with her father at a few small group events. The last time I heard Phoebe speak on this, I noticed a change in her energy and how much more confident she was in being able to share on such a sensitive topic. I immediately knew Phoebe had to join us on Dear SG and enlighten us on how she’s been able to do something many would consider impossible. Phoebe and I talk all things family, forgiveness and what it’s like growing up with an absent father. Phoebe shares how despite her story, she’s been able to receive forgiveness towards her father and can now be in a position to start her own family with her husband.
