At The Refuge we know that storms are inevitable... the only question is where will we run to when those storms come? 

In the book of Psalm chapter 91... the Bible promises us that if we can learn to run to God that we never have to feel overwhelmed in the midst of our storms. We hope that the Refuge will be a place where you can find God... if you are in a storm... coming out of a storm... or about to be in a storm.

The heart of MAP 1040 is to go and send. We go to many countries, some open for travel and some not, helping people and giving hope to one and all. We exist to be the point of contact for help and hope in the 1040 Window.

The 1040 window is simply a geographical term. Defined as 10 degrees above the equator and 40 degrees above the equator.  Starting from West Africa thru North Africa into the Middle East, the majority of these nations are Muslim. The 1 billion people of India reside in a land mass the size of the United States, composed of both Hindu and Buddhism. China represents the majority of the non-religious of the 1040 Window.
