Love embodied the birth of Jesus! Love surrounds the Christmas Story. We read Luke 1:26-56. Even though there was a mix of emotions, like a rollercoaster, for Mary, at the end of it all, she felt Jesus’ love through God’s favor upon her life. Love started it all.

In this episode, we talk about  the slang term of "peace out" and how it is possible for us to "peace out" on others without carrying for their burdens. We read Galatians 6:1-5 and discuss how we can turn things around and learn how to correct and help others from a posture of love.

What is peace? Can you have peace without Jesus? Is peace needed when making an important decision?

There are certain things that are always so good together, like Peanut Butter and Jelly, Ice cream and cake, chicken and adobo, the sun and the beach, etc. They partner and compliment each other so well. And when you take one away from the other component, it lacks its special quality and becomes bland. In the same way, Faith without works/action is dead.  Faith's partner is action in good deeds. In this episode, we read James 2:14-26 and talk about a few examples in the Bible where faith with actions was done and a miracle was produced.

What is the difference between happiness and joy? Are they the same? We look deeper into this and we talk about how joy is related to our relationship with Jesus.

In this episode, we talk about how to re-fresh your relationship with God so that it doesn’t get stale, bland, tired or used/worn-out. We read of how God feels about us in Isaiah 43:1-4 and share 4 points of our “self-spiritual examination.”

In order for your faith to get  stronger and your relationship with God to grow, you have to go through surprises. They may come in the form of pain, trials, and tests that you just didn’t know were going to happen in your life. We read Exodus 14:10-25 and look into the two surprises Moses and the Israelites faced in that passage. The best way to adjust to life’s surprises is by trusting God and having faith that He will be with you through it all.

In this episode, we talk about how showing kindness is a way we can show that we care about other people's feelings and emotions. It is also a way we can display God's character. It may be difficult to show that you care for others when they are causing you havoc and frustration, but it is necessary.

This year has truly been one of a kind. We will never forget 2020. But whatever feelings we have this holiday season, the Bible explains that there is Good News that can give us hope and joy no matter what our Christmas season is like. Jesus is our hope and our Good News. Our hope didn’t start at the cross, our hope started on Christmas day, when baby Jesus was born in a manger. Jesus is the Hope for all!
