Millions of people from around the world will soon be working from home for the first time, due to the spread of Covid-19 (also known as CoronaVirus). Having worked from home and remotely for over five years, it was important for me to share some of the challenges and tasks that you might want to address.  Working remotely isn’t as simple as taking a laptop home and connecting to the internet.

There’s a huge mindset change that needs to happen.

Hopefully, your employer will have a work from home policy or a process to help employees transition into remote workers.  It’s also hoped that employers are flexible, trusting and embrace this style of working. In this episode of the Remote Hive podcast, you will learn my 10 tips to working from home due to Covid 19 (CoronaVirus).  Links to resources in this podcast can be found at https://hivevine.com/podcast

  • Invest in Yourself in 2020 - Personal Development is Important
One of the lessons I have learnt in 2019, is that it's important to invest in yourself in 2020.  This year, for the first time, I spent money on my own personal development and felt this helped me a lot this year.  Without this investment, I really doubt that I'd be at the situation where I am today, with coaching clients, a live website, podcast and YouTube channel.  You don't have to spend as much as I did, but it's important you are multi-skilled, especially if you are applying for a remote job, freelancing or building an online business.  Interested if anyone reads this information. If you do, drop me a message AND quote the podcast.  I'll give 1 hour free training to the first 3 people who contact me.
