Today, I grab the mic to discuss a pattern. I've noticed people in the self-help, "trauma-informed" services, and even those claiming to be Influencers or SME's using the phrase "The Research Shows."

Normally, I'd not think anything of it, however, when I start noticing patterns then I take note. I start noticing when people in conversation throw out that phrase and then carry on. In a recent conversation, the phrase "the research shows," was used and I paused and said, "what research?"

I really wanted to know. What ended up happening sparked a even further development to share because not everyone who says "the research shows," knows the research but rather has a different agenda.
