Gee Scott breaks down Seattle's 33-31 loss to Washington and why the Seahawks beat themselves. Seattle out gained the Commanders 437 yards to 238 but turned the ball over three times, gave up 21 points off those mistakes and rushed for under 50 yards. Gee explains why the loss doesn't change his belief that this team will be fine, and why he is watching for December and January instead of September.

Gee lays out his three biggest concerns: a run game that went away from rookie Jadarian Price after his fumbles and struggled in short yardage, Rashid Shaheed's limited role with only four catches through three games, and a banged up secondary that misses Julian Love. He also compares Jaxon Smith-Njigba's constant openness to the "pass the ball to Will" episode of Fresh Prince, questions whether Marcus Mariota is the best QB Seattle has faced so far, and previews the Chargers and Justin Herbert ahead of the 49ers.

SEAHAWKS D HASN'T ALLOWED A 100-YARD RUSHER IN 700 DAYS!!
Gee Scott sits down with Super Bowl champ and Seahawks legend Brandon Mebane to break down what's fueling Seattle's 2-0 start and why this defense is quietly one of the best in the league. Mebane dives into the blitz-heavy scheme that's kept Seattle's streak alive, makes the case for the D-ends rushing out of a three-point stance instead of two, and explains why the interior of the defense is getting more production than fans realize.

Gee and Mebane also break down the O-line's turnaround up front, preview the Seahawks-Commanders matchup with Washington missing Jayden Daniels, and go deep on Mebane's belief that this NFC West is the toughest division in football with the Rams, 49ers and Seahawks all in the mix. The two close it out with a heartfelt detour into Marshawn Lynch's Hall of Fame case and the energy "Beast Mode" brought to Seattle when he arrived.

SEAHAWKS ROLL TO 12 STRAIGHT!!

Gee Scott breaks down Seattle's 31-7 win over Arizona and what it means heading into Week Three. He dives into Jaxon Smith-Njigba's three-touchdown, career-high performance, Drew Lock's clean 19-for-26 outing with zero interceptions, and the second-half defensive shutdown that turned a 7-7 game into a blowout.

Gee explains why the offensive line deserves more credit for the 162-yard rushing performance, how Julian Love's diving interception flipped momentum, and why this Seahawks team's culture of trust and preparation is the real reason behind the 12-game win streak.

Seahawks linebacker Tyrice Knight joins The Reset to open up about the road that got him here. He breaks down his path from Independence Community College to a Super Bowl ring, why Mike Macdonald called him the best defensive player on the field in the preseason opener, and what "decisive" really means in his role within the defense. Knight also revisits his two-sack, fumble-forcing performance against DeMarcus Lawrence and Arizona that earned him NFC Defensive Player of the Week, and details the Miami training program that took his game to another level this offseason.

Knight goes deep on the linebacker room, his bond with Ernest Jones, why communication on the field has become second nature for this group, and what has this defense playing with total confidence ahead of Week 2. Plus, he settles the debate on sugar in spaghetti once and for all.

Preseason football always brings the same debate about safety, and this episode digs into it head-on. A new report suggests at least 1 in 4 former NFL players may develop CTE, and Gee asks Brandon Mebane what that number means for a league still figuring out how to protect its players.

That conversation leads into a deeper look at retiree health care, with Mebane making the case for why five years of coverage after retirement isn't enough, and what a better system could look like heading into the next CBA. From there they dig into two-a-days versus today's lighter practice schedule, whether cutting reps actually reduces injury risk, and why this preseason has felt unusually brutal for season-ending injuries.

Gee and Mebane also break down the Seahawks' final preseason tune-up against the Chiefs, Jalen Mills getting the start, and whether a rough preseason record actually predicts anything once Week 1 hits. Plus a heated back-and-forth on Brian Daboll and the Titans' offense, and a debate over whether it's harder to build a good offense or a good defense in today's NFL.
