We speak about the origination of the movie, the process of "crowdsourcing" to finance its cost and the plot itself. The movie follows the story of the main character, a military veteran returning from war who had been a POW, and who had been subjected to torture during his captivity. After returning from war and suffering the loss of his best friend, the PTSD he had suffered from rears its ugly head and Barney embarks on a killing spree for revenge. Unfortunately, we've seen this plot line play itself out in real life w/ similar incidents as those portrayed in the movie and we delve into the horror of PTSD and the toll it exacts on the human psyche.

This week Mike speaks to Daniel Carcillo, a former NHL hockey player and 2 time Stanley Cup winner about his NHL career, the lasting effects of the concussions that he suffered throughout his career, as he thoroughly earned the nickname "CAR BOMB"! Dan speaks about his post career struggles where he suffered from traumatic brain injuries, compromised mental health and a diagnosis of pre-dementia at the ripe old age of 30. After spending hundreds of thousands dollars in 4 years on both conventional and non-conventional treatments to alleviate his symptoms, which resulted in minor changes in his condition, Dan discovered Psilocybin and after using it for his therapy, his symptoms were essentially healed. Dan realized that this therapy could be used by some many others and he then opened up his own facility, Experience Onward in Oregon where others could receive the psychedelic therapies that had helped him heal
