You need to forgive him."

And immediately, the rage rises. Because WHY should you forgive him? He doesn't deserve it. He hurt you. He betrayed you. He walked away like you meant nothing.

So no. You're NOT forgiving him.

You're holding onto that anger. That resentment. That bitterness. Because he deserves to be punished.

But here's what I need you to understand: Unforgiveness isn't punishing him. It's punishing YOU.
