Scott Smylie gives a beautiful comparison between 1 Kings 7 and 1 Corinthians 3. When God spoke with Solomon in the Old Testament we can see all the details of the temple because God cares about His temple. In the New Testament, we discover that the Lord takes it very seriously how we treat His temple because You are His temple.

In the book of 1 Kings 21, we find the story of Naboth and his vineyard. A inheritance that was left to him by his father and his ancestors. When King Ahab decided that he wanted Naboth's vineyard; Naboth stood firm in his convictions and refused to sell the inheritance his father left him.

This message by Pastor Abraham Villanueva teaches a powerful lesson on standing firm on your Father's promises and not fearing men or the enemy. They might persecute me, they might kill me but I will not sell my Father's inheritance.

Forced is when you make something happen when it should not happen and family should never be or feel forced. Family should flow in its diversity. Jesus wants us to walk with Him so we can learn the unforced rhythms of grace when building the family of God.

The word value means importance, worth and to give value and usefulness. Most of the time we would consider our pain not to have worth or importance but God wants to teach us the value that is hidden in our pain.
