In the days of the Hebrew Bible, God sent miraculous fire from heaven on numerous occasions. In the present age, God sends the convicting and purifying fire of the Holy Spirit. But once again, according to the Book of Revelation, God will grant fiery power to his Two Witnesses in Israel in the End Times. Even the prophet of fire, Elijah, is promised a return to earth.
