The Revealing

Isaiah 9:6 (KJV) "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." In this celebratory edition of The Revealing, Pastor Frank, Pastor Robert, and Kris discuss the royal lineage of Jesus and why the virgin birth connected Him to the line of King David, thus confirming that He is The Messiah who will sit on the throne.

As we come closer to the celebration of the birth of Jesus, Pastor Frank and The Revealing crew will explore why Jesus' first coming to Earth was through a virgin birth and the Old Testament prophecies that foretold it.

In our final installment of "The Keys of Bible Study", The Revealing team will talk about the last four of the ten keys to Bible study: Interpreting scripture in light of God's consistency, how He teaches us by association, approaching Biblical belief without the idea of contradictions and reading the Word from a literal perspective.

In the second part of our series on Bible study, The Revealing crew discuss additional keys to revealing the truth in God's Word: Comparing scripture with scripture, recognizing the three layers of application and realizing the key to God's Word is the Word.

To better understand how we as Christians should study the Bible, The Revealing crew will discuss "The Key of David" in the first episode of a multi-part series on how God's message to His people is revealed in His Word and how we can apply it to our lives as The Body of Christ.

Pastor Frank, Pastor Robert and Kris discuss the concept of expository preaching and the pitfalls of man's application of his own wisdom on scripture.
