Join us on the couch to tip off “March Movie Madness,” comedy month with Restaurateur Mychal Dynes (Little Conejo), who is scheduled between 12a-12p, to discuss his pick "The Cable Guy," (1996 d. Stiller). Let's be honest, we've all been "The Cable Guy," a little bit, no? Wanting to be pals a little TOO much? Calling a little TOO often? Sharing a little TOO deeply? Breaking backboards? Just Paul? Moving on...we know how you're feeling right now. We're here for you. Remember "Midnight Express?" Oliver Stone won the Academy Award for Best Screenplay. Awesome, Awesome scene. This concludes our broadcast day. Click! 3/3!

Join your ‘regular’ co-host Paul, in this very first Review Review-Niverse EXPANSION series “Shelf Help!”
Review Review “Shelf Help” is a new short form series with all sorts of folks from, and not from the program, waxing about the physical media they own, and sometimes wish they didn’t. An extension of the program designed to assist you in making sure your next physical media acquisition is the right one for you, and the people you care about. These episodes will largely be available via our soon to launch “Review Review Niverse.” But until then…
To kick us off for “Shelf Help,” and continuing our “March Movie Madness,” celebration, Paul (@paulactsbadly) goes on and on about his copy of the Kino Lorber 4K release of “Kindergarten Cop,” (d. Ivan Reitman 1990). The graphics, the discs, the restorations, the themes...oh my!

Novelist and also podcast host (Writing While Handicapped), Derek McFadden rejoins us for his latest choice "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (1988 d. Zemeckis) Starring: Bob Hoskins (3x People's Sexiest Man Alive), Christopher Lloyd, and Joanna Cassidy. This blend of hand drawn animation, Warner & Disney characters, and work in volumes was a trailblazing piece of filmmaking 30 + years ago, but how does that hold up against the master works of today (Jason X, Morbius), and does it really hold up at all? A discussion about how certain parts of certain people might could move in a certain way that is uncertainly certain to be certainly up down around and the whole deal. Pppppplease stop reading, and listen. There's no pain...no pain...no pain...no pain...no pain...no pain...no pain...no pain...no pain...no pain...2/17!

Congrats to the winners of the most superb owl, the 60th superb owl, in this the 50th year of the Seahawks, and 12 years removed from the winning of the 48th owl!!! Paul recorded this review of the NFL Films: Seattle Seahawks 2014 championship Blu-Ray, as a little sample of our upcoming ‘Review Review: Shelf Help’ series. He did this on Tuesday, February 3, and completed editing at 2:55pm. Can you believe his prediction was that close?! He can...(repeating laser noise). "Shelf Help," will return!

So, someone involved with marketing/promoting this new Dutch movie “Reedland” (2025 d. Sven Bresser) reached out to us. They were like “wanna do…whatever it is you do, we don’t really know/care, with it,” and we were like “how did you find us? Are you sure YOU think this is a good idea?” They were like “yep. Watch it and do the dance.” And we’re like "uuummm, OK.” Then we did the episode, and sent it to them for approval. They were like “wow. Approved. Give these chimps the Nobel Peace Prize.” So, we’re just waiting for that now. The Reedcutter will return in Avengers: Floopitty Dooms 1/20!

Ben Burris returns to pinch hit for Jose Canseco as our Guest Cohost, and kinda nails the first several bars of “Turtle Power” (Partners In Kryme), and as a result we grow, specifically in intellect, to discuss his COMBO BREAKING pick “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (1990 dir. Steve Barron) Starring: Judith Hoag, Elias Koteas, and Josh Pais. (The V & B) An episode in which we help each other, draw upon one another(s Henson fandom), and are always reciprocating the power that binds us. The same is what brought us here tonight, that which I gladly return with these words: I love you all, our audience. 12/29!

Guest co-host Rachael Fosket ("The Librarians," "Midway" - 2019 ) joins Paul for a little trip to "The Shop Around the Corner" (d. Lubitsch 1940). Starring: Margaret Sullivan, and Jimmy Stewart. Budapest, 3 o'clock in the morning, and were looking for a thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck ("Twins") pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's Paul, Rachael, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. Rachael managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shop owner and his son... that's a different story altogether...nasty business, really. But, sure enough, we got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show. It's really just a nice holiday movie though. 12/9!
