Episode 37 - I'm Castor Troy...and other related news by The Revue Podcast Network

Listen up, True Revuers! We have some special guests on this episode, the founders of Rocktoberfeast, the inaugural local music and beer festival in Atlantic Highlands, NJ with proceeds going to local charity, A Need We Feed. The founders, Sasha and Will join us to talk about the inception and planning of this amazing event. We can't wait for October 12th!

Are we really going to have to live in a world where Spider-Man is not in the MCU? Are you fucking kidding me, Sony? Get your shit together.

This episode we thrash Sony for their short-sighted approach to literally everything and why they cannot succeed with Spider-Man on their own. Buncha clown asses.

Plus, D23 expo tears it up with news of Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel series. Also, Ryan Coogler is back directing Black Panther 2! Tune in, True Revuers!

We get controversial in this episode as we tackle some fair and unfair criticism of Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood. Nothing makes us happier than ripping into a poorly researched and argued "hot take", and we have a good one with an old foe.

Also, should Universal have cancelled The Hunt in bowing to political pressure, or was it something more sinister like what sank The Interview in 2014? Freedom of expression is paramount when creating art and we defend that in this episode.

Plus, Ewan is back as Obi Wan? Yes fucking please!

We finally get around to talking Spider-Man: Far From Home. Get our full revue and listen to us tear into a stupid fanboy's ridiculous argument about how the movie was "ruined". As with most fanboy arguments, this one doesn't hold a lot of water. We also get into some Venom 2 director news and Kanye West asking Danny McBride to play him in a biopic. Yea...you read that last part right. Get to it, True Revuers!

In a surprise to nobody, Marvel decimated SDCC this year with a barrage of insane news! Jane Foster Thor! Blade is back! Baron Zemo is back! What FUCKING If! But don't worry, DC came out swinging too with the announcement that Brandon Routh is coming back as Superman from Kingdom Come in the next Arrowverse crossover. Holy. Fucking. Shit.

Lou Taylor Pucci is BACK on this week's episode of Ready Set Revue. We get into some insane but entirely expected news from the Flash movie camp. In a surprise to nobody, the writer/director duo that has been working on this garbage movie for the last year have left the project to be replaced by another team that will probably leave next year also.

We get real into this topic with our buddy, Lou Taylor Pucci, and what is happening in the movie industry in general with movies like this, stuck in development hell.

The Dirty Doctor Dave is there also.

Are you surprised that we have a lot to say about a topic? Since we do love pop culture, we figured we'd take a break from comics and talk about the state of pop culture these days, for better or worse. Gigi Hadid was recently crucified on social media for a completely innocent post, and that's been a rising trend for a while now. Don't feed the trolls! Also, who the fuck is Billie Eilish??

We also discuss the bidding war for JJ Abrams' Bad Robot production company and what it means for Hollywood and possibly the DCEU.

The world lost it's mind at E3 and we all collectively gripped our wallets, hoping to not go bankrupt this year. Holy shit! Cyberpunk with Keanu Reeves, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, Avengers, and DBZ: Kakarot! We are all ridiculously excited for these games to drop and we talk all about it!

And Dark Phoenix...oh what could have been. We go deep into our mixed feelings about this movie and everything we loved and everything that we hated. Tune in!

We're back! Sorry we had to take a short break. That loser Anthony had to go and get engaged. What an idiot!

Well...it happened. Robert Pattinson has ACTUALLY been cast as Batman. Please contain your nerd rage for the time being because remember how much we didn't like Heath Ledger's casting (RIP) and look how that turned out. We also discuss the dismal Terminator Dark Fate trailer and the surprisingly good trailer for Rambo: Last Blood.

Like wrestling? Of course you do. We watched ALL of AEW's debut and have all of the gnarly details for you!
