Pedro Almodóvar's 1999 drama ALL ABOUT MY MOTHER was the winner of the Oscar for Best Foriegn Language Film, and the most-awarded film in the history of his native Spain. It's the story of a grieving mother, an HIV-positive pregnant nun, a transgender sex worker, a lesbian diva of the theatre, her heroin-addicted girlfriend, and getting by with a little help from your friends. #BeKindRewind

Twenty-five years ago, there was a three way battle for leadership between a nerd with likability issues, and good-natured goofball, and a spoiler candidate who just wanted to sow chaos. No, we're not talking about Gore, Dubya, and Nader - we're focusing on Carver High in Omaha, Nebraska, where Tracy Flick is ready for her ascension to Student Council President and her biggest nemesis seems to be not her fellow candidates, but an English teacher set on thwarting her goals. Seventy-five years ago, MGM took one of the most beloved songs from Irving Berlin's HOLIDAY INN, and made a movie that has absolutely nothing to do with Easter. But! It has Judy Garland and Fred Astaire and Peter Lawford and Ann Miller and 16 more songs by Berlin. EASTER PARADE is an old-fashioned musical about a song-and-dance man and the girl he plucks from obscurity to become the toast of Broadway, and we're gonna put on our fanciest bonnets and talk about it. #BeKindRewind
