For years I was loyal to the wrong people and things. 

I was loyal to the drug dealers that turned on me when I went to prison. I said nothing to the cops, while they got probation for ratting everyone out. 

I was loyal in relationships where a spouse was cheating and she got to take half my shit. 

I was loyal to business partners who fucked me out of money and clients and still paid the clients back. 

You have to be careful who and what you're loyal to.

It usually stems from their hatred of themselves or the lack of accomplishments in their lives. 

People are going to come at you over and over the more you become successful.

You have a couple of choices on how you deal with haters: 

1. Talk shit back to them

2. Ignore them

They'll steal your time. 

They'll steal your attention.

They'll steal your focus. 

They'll steal your mission from you. 

They're not necessarily bad people, but they're not ready to jump on your train. 

Stay focused. Keep them in your scope and say nothing. 

Eventually, they'll come running and say they "knew you when"

And then they'll become your biggest fan and new best friend.

If you're going to grow, you have to stretch your identity.  

This goes beyond getting out of your comfort zone. 

It's beyond simply imagining what life would be like if you closed your eyes, opened them to a world of wealth, abundance, and an overall badass life. 

When I was working in the mortgage business, I used to drive through one particular neighborhood in Plano, Texas, one of the wealthiest cities in Collin County at the time. 

There were multi-million-dollar homes and they served as a reminder of what was possible.  This was my motivation. 

Years later, I would go on to purchase and flip a couple of homes in that subdivision in Plano, Texas. 

But I couldn't have done that unless I stretched my identity.

When I met Ed Mylett, I went to his home and realized I needed to stretch my identity. 

His mansion was huge, and I one thing I've learned about having a bigger home is you need to have more furniture to fill it. Again, my identity had to be stretched to make this happen. 

I am a human being and I am built for growth just like you. If I am to grow beyond where I am, I have to put myself in situations and around people that will press me, test me, and push me toward massive growth. 

It starts with the discomfort of stretching my identity.  

If I am to become someone who has more, I have to be willing to get uncomfortable and stretch into a newer version of myself. 

You can, too!
