Not very maneuverable, and not one of my Favorite Aircraft to “fly”, but the Game does try to make up for its Shortcomings by giving it better Durability, good Armor, and better Missiles and Guns. It will dominate at the lower Levels against less performing Aircraft and inexperienced Pilots, but will have Problems competing with better Aircraft and Pilots. For me, it is best used flying close to the Terrain

The F-5 Freedom Fighter is the first Aircraft you get to play in the Game, and I initially didn’t think very highly of it. But as I learned more from Tutorials and Experience, I got to appreciate the Aircraft a lot because of its high Maneuverability if used properly, and keeping a close eye on the Turn Rate Indicator (TRI)

My first Video about the Metalstorm Game as I review the Mig-23 Fighter Aircraft in it. Not very good during Turning Fights, just like in Real Life of the Aircraft, but it is very fast and a very stable Gun and Missile Platform, with fast locking short-range Missiles. For me it is best used for “Hit and Run” or “Slashing” Tactics, as I show in one of my Best Games with it.
