Rebecca discusses the implications of this with Richie, her fears for the future of Ireland and much more in a gripping interview. "Dan" is a venture capitalist and trader with more than 20 years experience. Cash in people's pockets would be superseded by a new 'Britcoin' digital currency if Chancellor Rishi Sunak gets his way. The Bank of England would establish a direct digital equivalent to physical money and take control of it in the same way as sterling. Dan explains to Richie why this would be devastating for human rights. Governments would immediately have total control over what you spend, when you spend it and how you spend it. They could take your money at any time, without asking your permission. After discussing the implications of this with Richie, Dan offers the solution too.
