Rusty has been wondering about a question for a long time and feels it may not be the primary question to ask. Listen in to see if you are in the same boat. Knowing that our relationship with God is a primary focus for a believer we can still have questions. God is not afraid of any questions we might raise, but there are questions that we typically ask that cannot provide the answer to our personal core issue - Who am I?

Rusty thinks about how Abraham was considered righteous not by faith alone, but with works, the fruit of an active faith - a faith that does the Word rather than just assenting to it. Are we relying too much on knowing God sees us as righteous through Christ or are we taking purposed steps to walk our talk and challenge the toxins present in the areas of our mind yet to be fully renewed?

Rusty recounts a crazy dream that reminds him of a spiritual truth - one that causes even the best of us to internalize the chatter of the culture and believe the wrong things about us. When we can give a higher priority to what God has said and speak out and live those truths - the birds in the window take off and let us finally see what is possible.

Rusty looks in awe at the simple things, like a nail gun, and the power it contains. Looking at the life of a believer, he reminds us that the power given to us by the Spirit of God can perform great things when given the permission to address issues within our life first.

Rusty encourages us all to remember that our mortal life is only the outward skin of what is really the true life - the Life of the Spirit. It is time to grow to the next level and shed some of the skin that has become comfortable to us - trusting that the life we seek is found in the places God has prepared for us beyond our natural sight - in the realm beneath the skin.

Rusty offers the recommendation to choose Option Number 4 when dealing with difficult issues of life. What is the fourth option? Well, let's just say that is not the option to ignore, mask or move the problem from our view. God has given us all wisdom to address areas of defeat and death in our lives - if only we trust Him to help us face these issues and find His freedom in the process.
