Barrett is joined by friend and fellow Voice contestant Dustin Christiansen.  The pair talk about song writing, Dustin's journey on The Voice and perform two songs they have co-written since the voice ended.

in Episode 6 of "The Ride" Barrett Baber talks about paying attention to detail in regards to recording music.  Baber has been recently working on his new full Length Album that releases November 4th 2016 and because of being in this "recording music mode" he finds himself listening to all music a little differently.  Baber takes a Chris Stapleton song and breaks it down section by section explaining to listeners what he hears when he listens to it.

In Episode 5 Barrett delivers the podcast from his hotel room in Boise Idaho after a weekend of shows in the Pacific Northwest.  Barrett then tells the story of how he reached the decision to quit his job as and advertising executive and become a high school teacher.

Barrett Baber delivers the 4th Episode of "The Ride" while on a Ride to Dallas with his wife Sarah.  The couple tell the story of how they met and then go through a list of "Silly things that couples fight about" compiled by stir.com .

In Episode 3 of "The Ride" Barrett talks about using what you experience in life as learning tools.  Specifically, Barrett tells some stories about his journey on Season 9 of the The Voice and talks about giving a speech to some Jr High School students not long after finishing work on the show.  Barrett talks about 3 Things that he learned from doing "The Voice" and how those things helped him on the show but are also life lessons that can be used by most people for becoming a better human being in general.  During the podcast Baber plays some acoustic versions of songs he performed on The Voice and tells some interesting stories about other contestants and his Coach Blake Shelton

Barrett starts off this episode talking about upcoming shows and does quick review of some of the things that happened during his stay in Nashville for CMA Fest the previous week.  The topic turns to the recent shootings in Orlando and how people like to place explanations on things that are unexplainable.  Barrett recalls a lesson he learned from his father when he was a teenager about grief and the value of silence and presence during times of unspeakable tragedy.

Barrett records the first ever episode of "The Ride" podcast.  Barrett starts off the episode discussing the new podcast and gives a brief overview of his journey. This overview leads to Barrett telling a story about giving a speech to the Senior class of 2015 at Fayetteville High School.  Barrett reads the speech he gave to the seniors.
