Tools like the Mood meter (Yale) and the Feeling Buddies (Conscious Discipline) are very helpful to get the ball rolling on these types of conversations. She also builds on this by identifying that when we empower our children to manage their feelings, we teach them to self-regulate.Mandy also emphasises the need for CONNECTION with our children.
