When Ridgeview's resident Biblical counselors, Logan and Maya, stop by the office. Evan hops on the cry coach, and prepares to detail his whole life story. However, before he can explain where it all started, Logan informs him that they're actually there to record a podcast episode on anxiety. Worrying that they might be nervous about recording an episode on anxiety. Evan sings a wonderful country song about dirt roads, to help Logan and Maya relax. The trio then discuss what anxiety is, what being anxious means, and how to correctly (and practically) use scripture to help deal with it.

Evan decides, in good faith, to help out with some Podcaster Ed. Unfortunately for him his first student, Maya, has other plans. She hijacks the episode in order to have a conversation with John. In order, to learn more about how to teach the Bible. Even after being bamboozled, Evan helps Maya, through the awkward pauses and trick questions. And together, the trio discuss the need to understand the weight of what you're teaching, tips on how to prep and organize a lesson, and ways to help foster discussion. So grab your math homework, pull up a seat on the cry couch, and remember to check back next week to see if the "host in training" returns...

When Evan becomes curious about Biblical ways to teach and discipline kids. Maya and Amy, suggest looking through the theology and wisdom of Proverbs. During their discussions they look at how to be a good example for kids, the need to control the tongue, and how to talk with kids about difficult topics like relationships.

When Pastor Mike is distracted by helping, Kristen, double check her notes. A friendly and bearded camel rider, steps in to help host. Following some miscues and off topic comments. Kristen and the gang are ready to start off Season 3 of The Ridgeview Podcast. For episode 1, they look at how the Gospel transforms the act of forgiveness. First, they take a deep dive into how the secular world looks at forgiveness. Then, they look through God's Word and discuss God's example of forgiveness, the basis of why God forgave us, and if it is Biblical to forgive one's self.

From the "occasional" dad/pastor joke, to the rich culture of the Mongolian Empire. And from the great halls of Tolkien literature, to the dangers of a sweet and innocent strawberry. The Ridgeview Podcast covered a wide array of issues and topics in season 2. Even though all of these episodes may have helped, Pastor Mike and the crew, become "experts" at podcasting. It's plausible that there may have been some problems and big booms along the way. Leading to a need for some parts to be rejected, and substituted with a new part. So pull up a seat on the cry couch, and try to keep your popcorn down. As we take a look through some of the highlights/low-lights of Seasons 2.
